VISLINK relocates UK Sales, Development and Manufacturing operations into one site

"Naturally, it is more efficient to operate from one site, whilst we have also been able to give our employees a better working environment,” comments VISLINK Chief Executive Duncan Lewis.

“This move too, enhances our customer focus. Bringing all of our UK people together under one roof means that we shall be better able to deepen our customer relationships, respond more directly to our customers’ requirements and provide industry leading after-sales customer support.”

VISLINK completed a strategic reorganisation during 2009, bringing together its industry leading brands – including Advent Communications, Hernis Scan Systems, Link Research, Microwave Radio Communications, Pacific Microwave Radio and Western Technical Services – under four globally focused business units. These business units are organised to serve customers in News & Entertainment, Law Enforcement and Public Safety, Marine and Energy and the related Services markets in all of the company’s locations around the globe.

Duncan Lewis adds, “We have been able to sell our Chesham site, generating cash we intend to invest in new products and services for our customers, provided they make a satisfactory return for our shareholders.”
