TBN and the BA Group fundraise for Canterbury, NZ

Whilst thankfully all friends and family of the The Bridge Networks (TBN) and the Broadcast Australia (BA) Group within New Zealand are safe, the impact of the 22 February 2011 Christchurch Earthquake has affected us all, both within New Zealand and beyond.

With the rebuild cost for the Canterbury region estimated to be in the region of $20bn NZD, TBN and the Broadcast Australia Group held a "Red and Black Mufti Day" on Friday 4 March, to raise money for the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal.

The employees of TBN and the Broadcast Australia Group located within NZ and Australia raised in excess of $1000 AUD for Canterbury.  Broadcast Australia volunteered to match every dollar raised by the employees on the day, which will bring the total monies raised to in excess of $2000 AUD.

Our sincerest thanks to all those staff that contributed to the fundraising efforts, and to the Broadcast Australia Group for matching the monies with an equal donation.

If you would like to donate further, you can do so directly to the Canterbury Earthquake Appeal at www.christchurchearthquakeappeal.govt.nz.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected in the Canterbury region.
