New Zealand Fire Service Choose Sonifex

Bridge Networks has provided the New Zealand Fire Service (NZFS) with Sonifex Net-Logs Audio Loggers for installation within their new Hazmat/Command Vehicles. NZFS is currently engaged in a building programme to produce 17 dual purpose Hazmat/Command vehicles for deployment throughout New Zealand.

The Sonifex Net-log is a 4 channel audio logger that can record weeks of programming on a large internal hard-disk. The unit was designed as dedicated hardware for reliability reasons, i.e. there’s no PC motherboard in the machine.

Christine Fisher, Managing Director for The Bridge Networks said “The company is extremely pleased to be able to provide the Sonifex Net-Log for the New Zealand Fire Service’s Hazmat/Command Vehicles. It is a quality product that will enable NZFS to monitor and record their two-way communications at any incident the vehicles are deployed to.There are many applications for Net-Log, from radio stations recording their broadcasts for regulatory purposes, to small call centres, law firms, security companies and Emergency Services such as Ambulance and NZFS, who use them for monitoring purposes. Net-Logs have been installed in court rooms & police interview rooms for audio surveillance and, when combined with the D:Scribe transcription system, offer a cost saving desk-top based logging & filing system for audio & transcripts."

All audio created by Net-Log is Windows Media PlayerTM compatible so files can be emailed to colleagues and customers and played out on any PC with a sound system.
